Lord of the Harvest

Almost a year ago to date, I started this blog with a simple post:

Prepare your work outside;
get everything ready for yourself in the field,
and after that build your house.
Proverbs 24:27

Sitting here today with my seven week old olive shoot cradled on my chest, I have become evermore aware it was not just my own laboring that prepared my heart and home. But the divine Groundsman, who was plowing the soil; the divine Artisan, who was crafting the foundation of our family.
